Day 1 PALANGKA RAYA – START CRUISE
Meet at Palangka Raya airport and transfer your boat in Palangka Raya harbour to start your journey. Cruise past the stilted and floating houses of the provincial capital and continue upriver along the forest-lined river, passing villages. In the early evening, take a canoe through the shimmering black water lakes. Keep an eye out for proboscis monkeys, hornbills, and Brahminy kites. Return to the boat for a quiet dinner in the midst of the jungle. [-/L/D]
Day 2 BAPALLAS ISLAND – KANARAKAN
The boat moves up the Rungan River as you enjoy breakfast. On arrival to Bapallas Island, take a motorised canoe to observe orangutans. Then continue to the BOSF Education Centre where adult orangutans are waiting to be placed on the pre-release islands. Learn about the BOSF rehabilitation programs. (Only open on Saturday and Sunday)
Enjoy a leisurely lunch onboard while cruising to Kanarakan, a tiny riverside village on the Rungan River. Arriving in the afternoon, welcomed by the village elder with Dayak Ngaju welcoming ceremony then stroll around the village with a local host to see the village home gardens, rubber field & rubber tapping demonstration, and other village livelihoods. Visit to the elder’s house and enjoy the traditional spices coffee while sharing stories.
Back to the boat and cruise down to Lake Tahai. Overnight. [B/L/D]
Day 3 SEI GOHONG – TANGKILING – AIRPORT – DENPASAR – LABUAN BAJO
Enjoy your last breakfast on board as the boat cruises to Tangkiling. Leave the boat early to catch the flight to Denpasar and then connect to Labuan Bajo. On arrival at Labuan Bajo, transfer to the hotel. [B/-/-]
Day 4 LABUAN BAJO – RINCA – KOMODO
Pick up from the hotel by your guide and then transfer to the harbor to board the boat to Rinca Island. Track through typical dry forest on Rinca Island. The mix vegetation of Komodo National Park provides habitat and shade for different animals on the part. Deer, buffaloes, pigs, wild boar,
long tail-macaque feed on various leaves, fruit, flowers, roots and grasses found in the park. Komodo dragons are the top predators and all animals in the park are their potential prey. Komodo dragons are scientifically described in 1912 as Varanus Komodoensis – the largest monitor lizard in the world. A ranger will lead the track. Afternoon cruise to Komodo island. Lunch, dinner and overnight onboard. [B/L/D]
Day 5 KOMODO – LABUAN BAJO
After breakfast, the safari will start by half an hour walk (2 km) to Banunggulung to see the Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Komodo island is also home to wild animals such as deer, wild boar, and birds too, such as sulphur-crested-cockatoo, megapode and collared kingfisher. A ranger will lead this safari.
After returning to the boat, cruise back to Labuan Bajo with lunch onboard. There is opportunity for swimming or snorkeling at “Pantai Merah” Pink Beach. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight onboard. [B/L/D]
Day 6 LABUAN BAJO – AIRPORT
Breakfast on board, disembarkation. If the time permits you will have a short sightseeing tour to “Batu Cermin” Mirror Cave and view the traditional market. Then you will be transferred direct to airport for your flight. [B/-/-]

Ruhui Rahayu – Private Charter – accommodates max 5 pax – 1 double bed in deck cabin and 1 double and 1 single bed in fold out beds on deck, under mosquito nets.
